You have a website, it’s doing its job… Well, you think it is but do you REALLY know? How can you be sure?

Knowing your website is getting views is an important part of owning a business. It’s how you know that your customers are finding you, and the information they’ll need to decide if they want to do business with you.

So how can you know this? The first step is to add Google Analytics into your website, which is a free service by Google. Having this installed will give you a clear picture of how customers are getting to your site and what they do once they are there.

It also shows you a “bounce rate”. A high rate means people made it to your website but left without doing anything. If this is happening, it probably means you’ve got your messaging wrong. You’ll definitely want to fix this!

High bounce rates are bad for your search engine rankings… and your wallet!
