Frequently Asked Questions

No surprises. No hidden fees. Just great websites.

Our Commitment To You:

We pride ourselves on our affordable pricing. We bill each site on a month to month basis. Once you sign up, we charge a one time licensing fee to cover your website integrations that are unique to your business. Then, we capture your credit card information to begin your monthly billing structure. Upon signing, expect to pay your first month and licensing fee. After that, you will only be billed on your month to month cost assuming you do not have any custom requests or add-ons.

Once your 18-month agreement is complete, you own your website and all of its content. If you choose to move your site to another company or host provider, we’ll provide you with a backup file that contains your entire website.

There’s no option to cancel or downgrade the agreement early. This is because we distribute the cost of your initial website design and development (in addition to providing updates, hosting, and backups) over 18 monthly payments, and most of the design and development happens at the beginning of the agreement term.

However, you are welcome to pay off the total amount of the agreement at any time and we will honour our commitment to provide our promised services for the remainder of the agreement term.

Yes, but because we distribute the cost of your initial website design, development, and included features for your particular plan over 18 monthly payments, you would be required to pay the difference in cost between your current plan and the upgraded plan for the months that have already passed in addition to the increased cost per month of the new plan.

We do not currently allow our monthly website business plans to be hosted on a different platform. We work on some of the best servers optimized for our product.

We do not accept cheque payments. All plans are set up on monthly auto pay from a valid credit card. this is to avoid interruption in payment and to cover the cost of development as well as ongoing updates.

Our experience with clients has been that running a trade-related business is time-consuming. We offer a hassle-free website subscription service to make sure your website is kept up to date while future-proofing your online presence. You’ll receive ongoing active support for any issues or changes you may need. We’d be happy to provide a quote for a “paid in full” option if requested through our sister company mediavandals.

Logo design includes 3 initial design concepts. Of these, you will choose 1 concept to expand upon, discuss your feedback with us, and receive up to 3 rounds of revisions on that one direction. You can mix and match from the concepts if you wish, for instance, if you like a font from “a” and an icon from “b”, you would provide your feedback and changes, and we will work with you to create your vision. Three rounds is usually enough to get to the final product, however, if you have a number of concepts you’d like to try out, we can always discuss costing to flesh out a few different design directions. Final files are delivered in a few different formats for you to use across different media types (print, web, etc).

Websites that ask for a ‘name’ and ’email’ address on a contact form are collecting personal information and need to not only have a compliant privacy policy but also need a strategy to keep their policy up to date when these laws are added or changed.
